The student selection process for postgraduate of Natural Resources and Ecology is a transparent and rigorous process that takes the criteria and requirements established in the Notification and the regulations of the Rules of postGraduate and the Directorate of School Control of the Autonomous University of Guerrero into account.
The whole process of selection and admission of applicants is collegial; the Notification, procedures and instruments for the evaluation are defined in the same way. The procedure includes a knowledge test a CENEVAL exam, an interview and an oral and written evaluation draft of the interview by a committee consisting of four professors NAB depending on the course. The weighting of these criteria is:

The number of students accepted per year is set in each Notification depending on the number of academic tutors and the final selection is made by the NAB through the analysis of each application and the results obtained. We will accept the students with the highest scores.
The list of accepted students is published on the website of postgraduate and each student is sent their results individually via email.
Students accepted must comply with the procedures and administrative requirements of the School Management of the Autonomous University of Guerrero and the Rules of Procedure to formalize enrollment in the postgraduate program.
The results of the admissions process will be published on this site at "Master's of Natural Resources and Ecology" once the process is completed.
Students accepted to "Master's of Natural Resources and Ecology" should complete the registration procedures stipulated in the regulations Control School at the Autonomous University of Guerrero this can be consulted in the regulations link of this page. It is recomended that you consult them. The dates of registration procedures will be posted on this site at the time.
Once accepted as students of the "Master's of Natural Resources and Ecology" and having completed the registration process, students, together with coordinating postgraduates, will begin the proceedings before CONACYT to recieve postpostgraduate study scholarships.
Passing the knowledge test is a requirement for admission to "Master's of Natural Resources and Ecology", which counts for 50% of the criterion in the selection process. The postgraduate school offers a knowledge test guide for applicants to get familiar with the topics and depth required for approval. For those applicants who feel they need to strengthen their knowledge to have a better chance of admission, it offers MRN&E, a preparatory course which is NOT MANDATORY with a duration of 4 weeks in which the following topics are addressed:

Candidates to join the Master of Natural Resources and Ecology must submit a research protocol where explain clearly the problems that aims to address the overall objective and the specific aims of the study, the proposed goals, an outline of the methodology followed and a timetable proposal taking into account only two years (four semesters) duration of the program.
